After the project „See You Later, Zooxhantellae“ in Australia, 2017 and 2018, the focus of the climate crisis is going to be on another section of the climate crisis. Besides the marine biology topics which will be touched on, the emotional realm that very often accompanies when ppl work on the sharp and direct front of it. You may have heard of these terms and also feel it these days; eco-anxiety, climate anxiety, solastalgia, ecological emotions, climate grief, etc.

The practical implementation of the project will start in Curaçao, Caribbean on the 3th till the 23th of September. The direct field work will be streamed throughout the exhibition.

Claudia Schildknecht, at first glance a confusing conglomerate with various transdisciplinary characteristics. She’s mainly working as a freelance visual artist and is focusing in longterm journalism and on social issues like the ivory trading in Malawi, desperate agriculture situations in Switzerland or the situations of the Northern Great Barrier Reef within in the climate crisis. Her work has been published in several magazines and newspapers and exhibited throughout Europe in different galleries and museums.

Additionally that she is a tattoo artist focusing on subjects of nature but also in more abstract things. Sometimes very precise and sometimes a bit bolder. Beside those two sections she’s developed the „SILC Tattoo After Care“, is leading the integration project „Thiep Bou Bess“ and will be soon back with the „Gelavena“ Ice Cream.
