Misha Bushkov
I own 2 semi-professional photo printers. They have to be used every week, otherwise their printing heads risk getting clogged. No matter if I have new pictures or not, or if I want to print something or not, the printers need to print.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, I had neither the desire nor the material for new pictures. Thus my creative output amounted to pre-fabricated test printer pages combining a variety of colors and graphic shapes. These pages will be exhibited at "Work in progress - ver 2".
Misha Bushkov
Misha Bushkov is a Zürich-based visual artist and software developer. Born in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, he graduated from Rostov State University with a degree in applied mathematics, but later developed passion towards photography and filmmaking and continued his studies in these fields. Since 2011 Misha lives and works in Zürich together with his wife Olga Bushkova - who is also a photographer and a member of the pool collective. Misha’s works have been featured in a number of film and photography festivals, including Vfg NWFP, Jungkunst, Krakow PhotoMonth and others.
